LCW Showdown at the Chase V Television Special Results 02.03.07

Showdown at the Chase V (February 3, 2007) live from Khorassan Ballroom in the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, MO.

Tonight’s special edition of Showdown is dedicated to the memory of St. Louis wrestling promoter, Sam Muchnick (1905-1998) and his legendary wrestling program, Wrestling at the Chase (1959-1983).

Diamond Dallas Page came out and asked Kimberly Page to join him in the ring. Page said they had had their problems, but through it all he still loved her and cared about her. Page got down on one knee and asked Kimberly to marry him again. Kimberly, wiping tears of joy from her eyes, said yes.

Diamond Dallas Page (with Kimberly Page) defeated The Missing Link (with Gary Hart) in 4:07 by pinfall after the Diamond Cutter.

In the back, Sean Mooney was interviewing LCW Television Champion Butch Reed and his manager Slick about defending the title against Jake Roberts when LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel appeared and said that Slick would be banned from ringside.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

In the back, Luna Vachon, attacked Kimberly Page, pulled her by the hair and throwing her into a wall before Diamond Dallas Page appeared and chased her away. LCW medical officials came and checked on Kimberly's condition.

LCW United States Champion Rowdy Roddy Piper wrestled Bad News Brown to a double countout in 5:10 after both men brawled into the crowd and to the back.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway came out and announced that February's pay-per-view LCW Descent took place in Australia and in keeping with the tradition of having the Decent pay-per-view take place in an international setting, this year's LCW Descent will take place in Tokyo, Japan in the Tokyo Dome.

Terry Taylor defeated LCW Heritage Champion Kevin Von Erich in 5:16 by pinfall with a small package rollup as Von Erich had the claw hold applied on Taylor to win the LCW Heritage Championship.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

In the back, Kevin Von Erich was looking through his gym bag when Tully Blanchard approached and laughed at Von Erich for losing the LCW Heritage Championship. Von Erich ignored him for a moment, before applying the claw on Blanchard. James J. Dillon appeared, took off his shoe, and hit Von Erich on the back of the head with his shoe. Von Erich turned around and put the claw on Dillon. Blanchard regained his senses and attacked Von Erich from behind, throwing him head first into a locker before leaving with Dillon.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

The Blackjacks defeated Mike Rotundo and Barry Windham in 6:27 by pinfall in a losers leave LCW match. After the match, The Blackjacks continued attacking Windham and Rotundo and dragged them to the back where they literally kicked them out of the building.

LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham defeated Paul Orndorff in 7:32 by pinfall after a running powerslam.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan introduced Jesse Ventura live via satellite who said he was going into surgery next week for his broken neck suffered at the hands of LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff. Ventura promised to return and said he was going to break Nikita Koloff, but not just his neck, but his spirit, his soul, his everything.

One Man Gang and King Kong Bundy defeated Billy Jack Haynes and Ken Patera in 6:27 by pinfall when Bundy pinned Haynes after the Avalanche.

In the back, Honky Tonk Man, with Jimmy Hart, attacked Rowdy Roddy Piper from behind and blasted him with his guitar.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Television Champion Butch Reed defeated Jake Roberts in 4:29 by pinfall when a large black woman sitting at ringside interfered and hit Roberts with her cane. The large woman was actually Slick, who had been banned from ringside, in a fat suit and makeup.

LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Freebirds (with Precious) defeated The Killer Bees in 6:36 by pinfall when Garvin pinned Blair with a small package rollup after Hayes reversed the small package rollup attempt by Blair. After the match, The Freebirds continued attacking The Killer Bees until Strike Force came out and cleared them out of the ring.

Dusty Rhodes won the 20-man Sam Muchnick Memorial Battle Royal in 13:36 which also included: Billy Jack Haynes, Brutus Beefcake, Corporal Kirchner, Hillbilly Jim, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Ian Putski, Ken Patera, Koko B. Ware, Marty Jannetty, Rugged Ron Garvin, Greg Valentine (with Jimmy Hart), Kamala (with Gary Hart), Kevin Sullivan, Killer Khan (with Mr. Fuji), King Kong Bundy, Lex Luger (with Madusa Micelli), One Man Gang, Outlaw Ron Bass (with James J. Dillon), Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts).
Order of Elimination:
- Kamala was eliminated by Lex Luger at 0:42 when Luger dumped Kamala over the top rope.
- Marty Jannetty was eliminated by Steve Williams at 0:58 when Williams press slammed Jannetty over the top rope.
- Hillbilly Jim was eliminated by Lex Luger at 1:11 when Luger clotheslined Jim over the top rope.
- Koko B. Ware was eliminated by Steve Williams at 1:32 when Williams clotheslined Ware over the top rope. After Williams eliminated Ware, Luger and Williams realized they were clearing house and it became an "anything you can do I can do better" moment.
- Ivan Putski was eliminated by Lex Luger at 1:46 when Luger clotheslined Putski over the top rope.
- Superfly Jimmy Snuka was eliminated by Steve Williams at 1:54 when Williams threw Snuka over the top rope.
- Kevin Sullivan was eliminated by Lex Luger at 2:03 when Luger threw Sullivan over the top rope.
- King Kong Bundy was eliminated by Steve Williams at 2:15 when Williams dumped Bundy over the top rope.
- One Man Gang was eliminated by Lex Luger at 2:24 when Luger dumped Gang over the top rope. After Luger eliminated Gang, Williams and Luger began to brawl with each other.
- Steve Williams and Lex Luger were both eliminated at 3:15 when Dusty Rhodes dumped both men over the top rope as they were brawling against the ropes.
- Corporal Kirchner was eliminated by Killer Khan at 5:51 when Khan kicked Kirchner over the top rope.
- Billy Jack Haynes was eliminated by Greg Valentine at 6:17 when Valentine dumped Haynes over the top rope.
- Ken Patera was eliminated by Greg Valentine at 7:35 when Valentine dumped Patera over the top rope.
- Brutus Beefcake was eliminated by Killer Khan at 8:44 when Khan threw Beefcake over the top rope as Beefcake ran towards Khan and Fuji held down the top rope with his cane.
- Killer Khan eliminated himself at 8:56 to save his manager Mr. Fuji from Brutus Beefcake. After the elimination, Khan brawled with Beefcake and blew his green mist in Beefcake's eyes. LCW security officials had to come out and pull Khan off of Beefcake.
- Ron Garvin was eliminated by Greg Valentine at 10:48 when Valentine backdropped Garvin over the top rope.
- Greg Valentine was eliminated by Dusty Rhodes at 13:36 when Rhodes hit Valentine with the bionic elbow which sent Valentine tumbling over the top rope.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff defeated Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) in 9:45 by disqualification after Stone Cold Steve Austin interfered and hit Koloff with the Stone Cold Stunner. After the match, Vader attacked Austin and the two men brawled until Vader gained the upper hand and hit Austin with a powerbomb. Koloff regained his senses and joined Vader in attacking Austin. Magnum TA came out with a steel chair and cleared Vader out of the ring. Magnum and Koloff stared each other down for a moment before Koloff slowly backed away.
