LCW Showdown at the Chase VII Television Special Results 11.07.09

LCW Showdown at the Chase Television Special (November 7, 2009) live from Khorassan Ballroom in the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, MO.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to the LCW Showdown at the Chase television special and reviewed the complete card before introducing Larry Matysik, the special guest backstage interviewer for the evening who was with LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. Matysik asked Austin about his stretcher match with Sid Vicious tonight and Austin said had a can of whoop ass with Sid Vicious’ name all over it. Austin said he was going to “whoop that psycho’s ass, lay him out on a stretcher and roll him out of the building and throw his ass out into the street where he belongs.” Austin said he had been attacked from behind twice by Vicious and laid out, put on the shelf, but Vicious made the same mistake twice: not killing him. Austin said he attacked Vicious from behind last week, but tonight he was taking the fight right to him.

Ivory defeated Jacqueline, Spider Lady, and Luna Vachon in 6:48 by pinfall when she pinned Vachon. During the match, Spider Lady and Jacqueline brawled outside the ring when Vachon gave Ivory a swift knee to the jaw. Just as Vachon was going to finish off Ivory, Lock came out from under the ring and threw a fireball in Vachon’s face. Vachon screamed and fell to the mat, her hands clutching her face and writhing in pain. Ivory took advantage of the situation and pinned her. Lock laughed as she walked up the entrance ramp. The camera zoomed in on her as she yelled towards the ring "And I've only just begun, sister!"

In the back, Larry Matysik interviewed Hollywood John Tatum and Missy Hyatt about Tatum’s first blood match with Wildfire Tommy Rich in which Hyatt would be locked in a cage at ringside to keep her from interfering.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Wildfire Tommy Rich defeated Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt) in 6:47 by decision in a first blood match. Before the match, Missy Hyatt was locked inside a cage at ringside to keep her from interfering. During the match, she tried to throw a pair of brass knuckles into the ring to Tatum, but Rich intercepted them and blasted Tatum with them. Rich hit Tatum with a Wildfire Driver and the referee saw that Tatum was bleeding from the brass knuckles and stopped the match.

In the back, Larry Matysik attempted to interviewed LCW International Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams, but they were interrupted by Goldberg who threw the microphone down and said the time for talk was over and he was ready to take care of business and make the LCW International Championship his tonight.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW International Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams defeated Bill Goldberg in 14:05 by pinfall after the Oklahoma Stampede.
During the match, Williams placed Goldberg in the Texas cloverleaf. Diamond Dallas Page came out with a steel chair and was going to interfere, but decided not to, threw down the steel chair at ringside and walked away as Goldberg kept trying to get closer to the ropes. He eventually made it, the hold was broken and the match continued. After the match, Williams extended his hand to Goldberg for a handshake, but Goldberg just turned and walked away.

In the back, Larry Matysik interviewed former LCW World Tag Team Champions the Nasty Boys, who said they were going to divide and conquer and since the dividing had already been taken care of between Orton, Slater and the Bass Brothers they were going to conquer and take back their titles.

In the back, Larry Matysik interviewed LCW Heritage Champion Macho Man Randy Savage about winning the title from Dynamite Kid this past Wednesday on LCW Showdown. Savage said Dynamite wasn’t focused on the Madness and it blew up in his face. Dynamite appeared and said he was focused on one thing: regaining the LCW Heritage Championship from Savage. Savage suggested that maybe Dynamite should focus on Bret Hart instead of him. Dynamite suggested that he skip the match with Hart and kick Savage’s ass tonight. Savage and Dynamite started brawling with each other as security officials rushed to the scene to separate the two men.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Bret Hart defeated Dynamite Kid in 9:26 by pinfall after LCW Heritage Champion Macho Man Randy Savage interfered while the referee was knocked out and hit Dynamite with the flying elbow smash before draping Hart’s arm across Dynamite. After the match, Savage left ringside with Hart as Dynamite slowly regained his senses and realized what had happened.

In the back, Ivory passed by Madusa on her way to the ring. Madusa said to Ivory, "I have no intention of losing what is mine. You and I have fought for a serious women's division in wrestling harder than anyone and I really feel a I've found a kindred spirit in you, but you need to understand that title means more to me than anything else in the world." Ivory smiled and replied, "I guess you should’ve thought about that before you gave up and surrendered the title." Madusa said she was stripped of the title, but Ivory responded, “No, you let them strip you of the title. You said you were never going to let that happen again. Well, tonight, you have your chance to prove it…if you can get past me.” The two women went their separate ways and didn't notice Spider Lady coming from around a corner, watching them leave.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW General Manager Harley Race came out with the LCW Women’s Championship and introduced Ivory and Madusa and announced that the winner of the match would be the new LCW Women’s Champion. Race watched the match from ringside with the title in his lap.

Ivory defeated Madusa in 6:32 to win the vacant LCW Women's Championship. During the match, the referee was knocked out. Spider Lady came through the crowd, attacked Harley Race from behind and took the LCW Women’s Championship from him. Spider Lady got in the ring and hit Madusa with it. Spider Lady then removed her mask and revealed herself to be Akira Hokuto! Hokuto left the ring and watched as Ivory, unaware of what had just happened, hit Madusa with the Poison Ivory for the pinfall and the win to become the new LCW Women's Champion. As Ivory celebrated, Hokuto quickly disappeared into the crowd. Madusa laid dejected in the far corner of the ring, holding her head where she was hit with the title with tears in her eyes.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Sid Vicious in 12:45 by decision in a stretcher match. During the match, Austin hit Vicious with the Stunner. Austin then clotheslined Vicious over the top rope. Austin rolled out of the ring and started attacking Vicious and hit him with another Stunner on the floor. Austin placed Vicious on the stretcher and rolled him out of the ballroom, depositing him out onto the street before going back to the ring to celebrate with the fans and some beers.

I enjoy your show completely....MAYBE for EndGame in December, you could unite the International and Universal Titles to form the World Title, much like you did to your Tag Team Titles...That way, more emphasis can be added to all Championship Fueds, especially with the Womens Title coming back....I'm available to help with ideas and things....If I remember right, I am the guy who gave you the idea for the events SuperClash and Breaking Point. Continue the great work you do, as I love reading it.

Creed,

Thanks for the support and the suggestions. However, the Universal and International titles will not be united any time soon. As for your past contributions, we can assure you that it wasn't you. Until only recently, LCW Founder Christian Calaway had been the sole creative force behind Legends Championship Wrestling. SuperClash was the very first event, a name decided up long before we went public 4 years ago and actually came from the AWA. Breaking Point was a name that came from Calaway and is a common phrase that Calaway thought would be a good pay-per-view name. Apparently, so did WWE.

Thanks for the support and stay tuned,
